Michael Jaroszewicz, Managing Director
Michael’s 40 years of structural engineering experience spans the UK, Middle East and in Australia since 1986. As a Company Director since 1989 and founder of MAJCON in 2007 he has carried out design, management and certification of numerous large and small commercial, residential and industrial projects.
Michael’s passion for remedial engineering involves forensic investigations to ascertain the cause of defects, reporting and specifying the repairs followed by project management of the rectification as The Superintendent.
As a leader in engineering, Michael is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and The Institute of Civil Engineers. He is a former President and remains a Director of the Association of Consulting Structural Engineers NSW, since 2007. More recently was elected to the Structural College Board of Engineers Australia.
Annie Hygert, Director Finance
Annie is a co-founder of MAJCON overseeing all finance, administration and Human Resources aspects of the company. She leads the administration team in the delivery of completed projects to our clients and is part of marketing the MAJCON brand to the construction industry of NSW.
Annie has worked as MAJCON’s FEO for over a decade and is pivotal in providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director for financial forecasting and budgets.
Sandis Birins, Senior Remedial Engineer/ Structural Engineer
Sandis' remedial experience has been with commercial and residential projects within NSW and ACT. Prior to moving to Australia, he gained experience designing residential, commercial and industrial projects as a Structural Design Engineer in Gloucestershire, England. Early career experience consists of work for a general Contractor as an Assistant Site Supervisor and Project Manager.
Michael ‘Jock’ Connan,
Senior technician / Project Manager
Jock has 47 years of extensive experience in the consulting engineering and site construction industry in the UK and in Australia since 1982.
His areas of expertise include CAD drafting and project management of the structural design and construction of numerous building types, infrastructure and complex structures in the residential high rise, luxury housing, commercial, retail, health, aged care, industrial and education sectors.
Tony Jaroszewicz, Contracts Manager
Tony is a Chartered ers on a wide range of projects in major alliances and joint ventures onCivil Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry working on major construction, engineering and infrastructure projects in United Kingdom, Middle East and Australia.
Since the early 1980’s Tony has worked for a number of Australia’s Tier 1 and 2 contractors and build tunnels, water and desalination projects, telecommunications, roads and buildings. With over 20 years specialising in contract management he leads MAJCON’s contracts and project management teams.
